Qua means to scratch, scrape or extract. Sha means sand or sediment. Qua Sha is a way to remove blockages in the circulation, relax muscle tension or tightness. Stimulating blood flow can stimulate the 'wound healing' response and cause some rash. Qua Sha on the face does NOT use DEEP FRICTION.

Facial Qua Sha is a very soft, and only the weight of the tool is used.
